Sophomore selling potentially scandalous shirts

Michael Runger ’14 is currently selling shirts which read “You can take the Indian out of Dartmouth, but you can’t take Dartmouth out of the Indian” via a promotional [Facebook group]. The aptly named “Dartmouth Indian playing pong shirts” group currently has 167 members.

Runger seems to be using this provocative shirt campaign to spread the word about the company University Tees. We’re guessing Runger has been hired as Dartmouth’s rep for the large organization, which has a presence at universities across the country.

“University Tees has such a great reputation,” at least according to Emma Minx from DePauw University’s Kinesiology Club, whose University Tees testimonial is posted on their site.

Time will tell whether Minx’s stellar experience will be repeated by students here at Dartmouth, but judging from this first big push, we’ve got our doubts.
